Wednesday Concert Series - The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist

Join the New Milwaukee Consort as they present a vivifying, 30-minute, program of Baroque music in Milwaukee’s Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. The trio will perform a mix of instrumental and vocal music featuring works by Barbara Strozzi, Jacquet de la Guerre, Joan Ambrosio Dalza, and Antoine Forqueray. This lunchtime concert will begin at 12:15 and end by 12:45. Though a free will offering is taken, there is no charge to attend the concert. St. John Cathedral 812 N. Jackson St. Milwaukee, WI 53202.

Please note the following safety precaution language from St. John’s website: Know that we are committed to providing a safe environment for everyone. For your safety and the safety of others, we ask that you wear a face mask when attending concerts. Hand sanitizer is available inside the Cathedral for you to use. For ease of cleaning and disinfecting, the padded chairs have been removed and replaced with plastic chairs. They have been spaced throughout the nave in order to enhance social distancing. The only entrance which will be unlocked is the side ramped entrance off of the staff parking lot. For security reasons the doors will be locked at the beginning of the concerts. Once the doors are closed, no one will be admitted.
